Designed for heavy-duty construction and automotive applications, it combines ergonomic wood handle comfort with precision seam finishing to dramatically improve efficiency and durability. ## Description Everhard Steel Seam Roller 1-1/2" X 2" Radius Edge MR02260 Review: Much better then I expected, even from a tool made in the USA - I purchased this to replace a plastic craft-rolling tool that broke some time ago. I expected it to be well built and solid, but that's just the start! The roller is on super smooth bearings, it's not out of balance or off center, and the wood handle is nice and solid. When I feel I need to maintenance it in the future I can just pop off a cap and unfasten a lock nut to disassemble the roller assembly. This will definitely go with my well made antique tools that I still use, but it's brand new! The only thing I would like to see is a crisper edge opposite from the radiused edge. One side of the roller has a radius of approx. 5/16 while the opposite edge has a small radius of 1/8. This is good for rolling down seams (so you don't get that sharp crease) but I will be using this for the sharp edge, so I'll have to grind that small radius down to serve my purpose. Review: Get the job done right. - Very nice high quality product. I used it for installing automotive sound deadening material and the trick to that is getting it pressed on as tightly as possible. What took me 4 hours with a smaller plastic roller took me less than an hour with this roller. The bearings roll very smoothly which actually made it problematic at times to keep good pressure at odd angles. The rounded front face makes it possible to get into corners as well which is a huge plus.
