Its a really good climbing stand. **Q: Does it have a bar for steadying a rifle?** A: If you are of average build, you can lower the seat height and use the top bar/side bars to build a arm/stand triangle for good accuracy. Obviously, you’re not going to win the 1000 yd trophy out of it, but for the average 100 yard whitetail hunting shot you should be good to go if you are a moderately competent shooter. Of course all bets are off when the fever kicks in! **Q: Will this stand work properly on a lightpole? What is the minimum diameter of tree or pole it will climb? I also found some specs for the stand which says minimum tree diameter is 8” and max is 20”. **Q: can I buy just the seat of a Summit Viper climber, a bear chewed mine up** A: I bet amazon has it.
