It is not "cheap" in any way. The feel is great, just enough texture to take the slipperiness out of handling your phone. I keep my phone in a zipped wallet and wanted a slim case that would protect the phone, but still allow it to fit into the wallet. This covers both bases. Don't hesitate to give it a try. One word of caution... Make sure you like the case before you put it on your phone! Mine snapped on and neither I nor my husband have been able to get it off! It's not going to accidentally fall out of the case, that's for sure. The red is a true red. Not orange at all. I'm very pleased with this purchase. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I think this case is my favorite *by B***5 on March 15, 2019* It was a little bit tough to put on but I see why. It fits my 8 plus very firmly. No room for a slip off. When putting in case put the bottom of the phone in first then the top just an FYI. Very thin but very protective at the same time. I love the grey/lavender color.
