Without going into spoiler territory, this is best looked at as a character study on Bruce Wayne/Batman with some different elements than what we are used to. This is not a book to blast through, but it is one to look at the meaning behind the panels (believe me, it will be hard to speed through these extremely well drawn panels). Again this is not a book for everyone, but if you come into it with the right mindset you're in for a visual and prolific experience. I know that I would be happy to revisit it. The story leaves a lot to be interrupted and does not tell a linear story. It feels almost what a Batman story done by David Lynch would feel like. It is a very well done story and mixed with the amazing art gives a new masterpiece in the Batman elseworld arc.
