Bought duo set so we have one of these at back and front. Perfect for lightly dirty shoes or sandy sandals. Easy to hose off. Since bristles are not as aggressive as the old style, these may not clean off caked-on deep tread red mud, but for Florida living where sand and muddy leaves are standard, these are perfect. I place them out in the sun before the door mats, so sand gets brushed off before we get to the door mat. They've stayed flexible and sturdy. Since they are rubber, they do not slide around on the cement.

I've had the old wire and brush version for years, but wanted something not quite so aggressive. Bought duo set so we have one of these at back and front. Perfect for lightly dirty shoes or sandy sandals. Easy to hose off. Since bristles are not as aggressive as the old style, these may not clean off caked-on deep tread red mud, but for Florida living where sand and muddy leaves are standard, these are perfect. I place them out in the sun before the door mats, so sand gets brushed off before we get to the door mat. They've stayed flexible and sturdy. Since they are rubber, they do not slide around on the cement.
