Does a great job sharpening pastel pencils but does last for more than 8 sharpening.

Best for pastel and other soft pencils. Rarely breaks the tip like other sharpeners. Easy to replace the blade when it gets dull.

I have used/tried about 11 different pastel pencil sharpeners on the market. Some electric, some battery operated and some just hand or crank model. These blades are for the BEST Sharpener I have ever used! Pastels dull all blades quickly. So replacement blades are a must! This Swordfish sharpener gets a fine point on a pastel pencil, consistently and with incredible precision. Be sure to sharpen a few leaded pencils after about every 7-10 pastel pencil sharpenings to lubricate the blade. I am a wildlife artist using pastels and oils. Being able to get a sharp fine point on a pastel pencil is critical to achieving whiskers and fine hair. This is my "go to" sharpener!!!

Defective blade, breaks every point every time. Counterfeit or completely defective.

Fácil de cambiar, busqué en Utube como hacerlo y fue muy fácil , hay que tener precaución para no cortarse la mano es bueno usa un guantes de cuero o pedazo de tela para proteger la mano y cambiar la navaja .

I love the sharpener but the replacement blade is very expensive

For years, these have been my go-to blades for sharpening pastel pencils. They didn''t last forever, but the lifespan has always been reasonable yielding a few weeks of frequent use. But not anymore. I don't know what's changed, but my latest blades become dull after just a handful of uses, even on the same day after installing a fresh blade. I'd say it was a fluke, but I ordered 5 blades at once recently, and they ALL become dull in no time. Plus, they're more expensive than they used to be. I have no choice now but to look for alternatives. Bummer. I'm open minded to revising my review if this is some kind of outlier. I hope these blades return to their former quality.

Very good, definitely sharpens pastel pencils well. Need to change the blades regularly to keep it doing its job.

These are great replacement blades for my Ikon sharpener and I love that they were easy to replace and that I didn't have to buy a whole new sharpener. They are super sharp and I get a lot of life out of my Ikon sharpener so these are high quality blades and worth the cost. I got these at a super price during black Friday sales.

Kurbelwelle kann super leicht ausgetauscht werden. Das nenne ich mal nachhaltig, denn bei vielen anderen Kurbelwellenspitzer kann die Kurbelwelle nicht separat gekauft und ausgetauscht werden. Ich spitze damit alle meine Pastellstifte, die Ergebnisse sind super.
