Men's Professional Clog - All Day Support

So many nurses I work with wear Dansko clogs. I decided to purchase a pair and see what they’re all about. At first they were a huge adjustment. But now three months in I can work a 10 or 12 hour shift without my feet throbbing by the end of the day. I also don’t wear compression socks. So that’s a win. I attempted just a straight up regular dansko and they were not comfortable. I traded them in for the backless kind thinking that would take the pressure off the tops of my feet from the first pair. Turns out it didn’t help and my scrubs were getting caught in the bottoms of my feet. I returned the second pair and almost gave up. Then I ordered one more pair the same sized I ordered in the first pair. But in WIDE. What a game changer. Three weeks of walking in them and they were getting broken in fairly well. I also had a backup pair of shoes in my office just in case. Wide did the trick, there great shoes and the nurses I work with have had the same pair for like 8+YEARS! So I had to figure out how to stop spending 150$ every 6-10 months. Love them now. Good luck!

Ok I'm a NYC Chef,I spent countless hours on my feet. I have had just about every type of shoe in Mt 20+ year career and this one is a work horse. It's a bit narrow,and to break them in May be one of the worst experiences of your life unless you when through boot camp with the all leather speed lace style boots they issued back in the 90's. But once you break them in and it does take about three weeks, you have a work shoe that is not only comfortable but stands up to constant kitchen abuse,I will probably never use another shoe and in all honesty after 6 months they feel better than my Jordans, I mean honestly they are more comfortable than my running shoes. If you can get past the break in you won't be mad about the extra money you spend because they will last twice as long as any berk,mozo,crock etc.

I’m not accustomed to the clog style, so it’ll surely take me some time to get used to this shoe, but I LOVE the wide size feature. I’m a men’s size 12 and rarely can find wide options. The width is perfect. I purchased the size 11.5-12 and as a size 12, I expected the clog to be a bit more snug. I’m able to fit at least a finger between my heel and the heel of the clog. As it doesn’t sit flat, the space is left at the back of the clog rather than at the toes, which will take a bit to get used to. Glad I didn’t order a size up! I love the leather finish. It scuffs easily, but I figured that would happen. I do wish that the opening of the clog came up higher. When I’m walking, my scrubs cling to my leg and my sock is exposed. Other than that, I love them so far!

First time I ordered these shoes, they never arrived. Second time I ordered them, I was sent shoes smaller than my palm. I ordered size 12.5-13 Men's Wide, they sent me like the smallest women's shoe I've ever seen, with the 12.5-13 men's sticker slapped over the original size. Now I can't even find a way to refund it and they want me to drive almost 40 miles to my nearest UPS store to try and return it. Don't order from Dansko right now, obviously there's something wrong with them and their quality control right now.

These shoes are great, but give them time to get used to your feet. When I bought these I had never owned a decent pair of real leather shoes. I didn't know how they would feel prior to my purchase. But, I'd heard time and time again that Dansko makes the most comfortable clog for long days on your feet, so I gave them a shot. I run a hotel restaurant and have been an avid wearer of a certain rubber clog, but didn't get the proper support I needed and my ankles were killing me. So bad that I thought I was in need of medical attention. Since wearing these though my pains have almost disappeared. I'll be honest, my first few days were painful. I almost went through with returning them for a larger pair. After reading reviews about how others did the same, however, and ended up with a pair too big, and then researching leather shoes in general I decided to keep them and see what happened. Like I said, the first part of you and your clog's relationship will most likely be painful, but what I'm starting to learn is that your foot will work and soften the leather to exactly fit itself. Those of you who have ever bought a brand new leather baseball mitt will understand. It takes work and patience to achieve the perfect fit. Here are some tips that I've found to work. 1. Don't go a full day wearing these. It will not end well. Your feet will hate you. Consider taking a day's break in between to let the leather dry out and breath after your feet sweat. It will also let your feet rest. 2.Get some leather conditioner and use it on them right away. It will soften the leather and help break it in faster. Repeat this procedure every few months to keep them from cracking and to restore oils lost. 3.Trust your shoe size. If your toes aren't mashed and your heel has about a pencils width between the back of the shoe, then you should be fine. 4. I've found that the shoe collar along the top of your foot will need to stretch. It will probably hurt at first but once your foot sinks down towards the front of the shoe it will progressively feel better. Take some time and research the proper care of leather shoes from reliable sources. With time and patience, and some pain, these shoes will become a best friend for your feet.

This is the second pair of Dansko work clogs I've owned. Loved the first pair so much that when they fell apart after 10 years, I ordered the exact same pair again.

Very comfortable and my feet don't get tired anymore. They are good quality and have held up well.

Feet little sore first week, time for your body to get use to clogs. Now my back and feet are good ,let just see long they last , shoes in the kitchen die in three months.

These shoes are amazing and comfortable. If in healtcare in the ED, OR or as a nurse, these are a must.
