Great Product. *by R***H on July 8, 2020* I am older and can struggle with opening some containers. So when I read the reviews saying the containers are so hard to open ... I hesitated. But I thought that most of the reviews were great so I'd give it a try. I have an artisan workshop where I do a lot of sewing every day. I like to have many bobbins ready in every color and multiples of common colors, so this really helps. I dreaded learning that these containers WERE hard to open after all, so I opened the package with some hesitance. Then I tried to open them and ... umm ... it was VERY easy. Not even a bit of struggle. You have to flip the securing tab, and it pops right open. I'm guessing some tried to open these without unlocking them (simply flipping the securing tab)? Anyhow, these are great. The bobbins fit nicely. I can put a filled bobbin in, and after it's in security, roll it to pull the remaining thread right into place. I can't come up with a defect. I love these boxes. If I need more, I'll order these again. Don't worry about them being hard to open.
