Perfect mount for my jeep
I buy rotopax because of the durability. The mount is bolted to my Jeep and does its job well. Being able to carry extra gas or water when out on the trail can be a life saver. Year 3 carrying gear with no issues or problems. Easy to install and perfect for what I use it for.

Good components
The knock-off versions of these are OK if you are careful, but I don't mind a few extra $$ to get the real deal. Unlike some of the knock-offs, these don't break.

Too expensive for incompatible parts
Not only is the fastening hardware provided in the kit prone to corrosion but the supplied carriage bolts square feature protrudes further from the head of the bolt than the mounting plate is thick. Therefore, if an attempt to install this mount is made on a flat piece of aluminum or steel that has not had giant clearance holes cut into it, the mounting plate CANNOT be tightened enough to make the plate sit firmly because the bolt head hits the mounting surface before the RotopaX base plate does.

Take Me To Utah
Worked as expected on my 3 gal container. I fixed this to a rack on my Jeep on my last trip to Utah. Heavy duty, sealed and poured well. Gave me some peace of mind off road.

Sturdy and secure
Well made, very sturdy, fits 2 gallon Rotopax tanks. NOTE: It does not come with anything to attach it to the roll cage. I already had the mount for the cage. You're able to tighten it very well, didn't move a bit on a 3+ hour trail. I only carry it on long trails so i dont mind that it doesnt lock. Recommend.

Great quality from Rotopax
I have two 3 gallon jerry cans from Rotopax and this is idea for mounting them to my roof rack. I also have an extension coming as well so I can double stack my fuel cans. Just great quality from a fantastic firm and they need to have UK outlets to save on the postage, but so worth the price for the quality of the product.
