Review: Good value and prints well - Bought this as it was available same day through prime, wasn't sure how it would print but it was cheap and I decided to give it a go, well I was pleasantly surprised, it prints really well, although I do get a slight discolouration where it adheres to the bed, the black finish does vary slightly between dull and shiny. The filament prints well between 200 and 210 and bed temp is set initially at 60 dropping to 55 after the first few layers, I'm using a creality mag bed on my ender 3 now and adhesion is excellent. I have tried a few filaments but keep coming back to this one as my every day use, I'm so impressed with it that this is my third role of black and I have also used the red which is also excellent and the colour is really rich, I cannot recommend this enough performance is excellent especially when you factor in price. PRINTER:- Creality Ender 3 with Creality Mag Bed FILAMENT:- Basicfil 1.75mm PLA EXTRUDER TEMP:-200 to 210 BED TEMP :- 60 dropping to 55 COOLING:- Smoothfang v2 set to 0 for first 2 layers then 25% increasing to 75% Happy printing Review: Serviceable, cheap but not a strong choice. - Can produce good prints but my spools since getting it has been nothing but trouble as you can see from the pictures this has been hit and miss the larger print has missed layers thanks to the roll getting tangled up and most other rolls I have had in the past stop aggressively coiling after 25% this one didn't meaning that if it slips off the roll it can get snagged easily. Adhesion is fine overall but it's again the only filiment I have had issues with sticking to the bed. But why are silver and yellow so expensive, compared to the other colours??** A: I purchased the grey (it is a very dark grey) 6 months ago and failed to have any good results on my ender3pro and QQ-S so it has sat on my shelf ever since. Get what you pay for same issues with the brands Abs. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Raise your temps and it's fine *by D***E on 5 June 2020* Good value if you just want a smaller quantity than a 1KG roll. Print temps are advertised as the usual 185 up to 215, on my ender 3 pro I print 205 for pla, which has worked brilliantly for AMAZ3D pla. However this fillament benefits from a higher temp, at 205 I had difficulty with adhesion. I tried at various temps, up to 235 which printed the blue angle you see in my pics. In the end I used 215 with a 60 bed, and that's what I've printed the orange parts for that goose in the pics. Prints have a small amount more stringing and generally are as good as with other pla, however for a little bit of colour they work well just up your temps! Also bear in mind the creality machines are cheap and are likely not as high a temp as displayed so don't be afraid to go a little higher than you're used to with PLA.
