I emailed the Better Display Cases and sent pictures of the damage and they were on it immediately! They reordered the item for me (didn't even have to send back the 1st case) and I just received the new case today which came in totally fine -- no damage at all. I was so pleased with the customer service and the quality of this case that I will definitely be ordering from them again and recommend this company to anyone that is looking for a display case of this nature. The case alone is gorgeous, and anything you display within it will only look better because of it. The build quality is remarkable; the joins between the different sides are sealed smoothly and perfectly. There are only 3 pieces to the case itself (not including the black base): a single top that curves to front back and separate left and right panes. It is uniformly flat all around, and reflections on all sides show no warp or curvature. The base is of equal quality and the clear case sits atop it, covering the inset raised surface with just enough play to set it properly. It's light yet solid and durable.I was a bit put off initially by the price, but the size was exactly what I was looking for. Now that I have it, I would say the cost is well worth it and I have no regrets. This just looks beautiful in my living room. As much as I paid, I would expect at least a protective film on the base. The acrylic top piece came covered in dust. I’m disappointed.Update: I have changed my review based upon their excellent customer service. The guy was very nice and is sending a brand new base to me free of charge (didn’t even need to send back the damaged one).
