Amazing deal. If only for THE BIBLE and THE ROBE, it's incredible. Those two have been beautifully restored by 20th Century Fox and look brilliant on bluray. It's great to see John Huston's THE BIBLE looking so good...and those who saw this year's NOAH will be delighted with Huston's more traditional take on the Ark/Flood story. Huston is a terrific Noah and you get real animals loading into the ark. THE ROBE received a far more extensive restoration and it shows. For being as old as it is, it looks beautiful. Martin Scorsese does a nice intro and there are tons of extras. GREATEST STORY EVER TOLD doesn't fare as well. It looks like FOX/MGM/UA spent about 35 cents to put it on bluray. It even starts with a disclaimer warning that it was presented using the "best available elements." But for $4, who cares. You at least get to see the great Herod sequence with Claude Rains. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Truly, these are wonderful epic Biblical movies and a good bargain *by D***N on August 3, 2014* I sure hope this is a trend that continues, offering high quality copies of films in these multi packs that make them a bargain to add to your home video collectikon. These three great Biblical epics likely did not look this good in many of the theaters they were shown in during their first runs. They bear the signature of those who wrote, directed, acted and even financed them. While some will decry the lack of epic special effects and action packed sequences, this is more than compensated for by the lush cinematography, the reverent storytelling that tells the human and most importantly, the spiritual aspects of the stories. My personal favorite is "The Greatest Story Ever Told" that has incredibly lush cinematography and is told with a quiet, reverent tone. The many famous actors and acresses that appeared in various roles are icing on the cake. It is great fun to make a game out of identifying the many who appear. A personal favorite is John Wayne as a Roman Centurion. Long after the pop movies of today are forgotten these three will stand the test of time, to be shown to your family, and perhaps Grandchildren. The message is eternal and the quality of the movies and the care of their productions is readily apparent.
