Stays on inflated intex pool - Have only had the cover in place for about 10 days, but it works fine. Based on some of the other reviews I was concerned that it wouldn't stay on, but it does. I'm not sure how long the material will last, but it seems to be reasonably sturdy. Yes, it has small drain holes in it, and yes, there is the possibility of small debris getting into the pool through those holes, but without them, it would just fill up with water when it rains. I like one of the other reviewer's suggestion of gluing or sewing screen material over the holes, but I haven't done it yet. Just hasn't really been a problem. I would say the only downside to this cover is that it traps the heat in the pool. This could be a nice feature in the fall, but right now, it's 100+ outside, so trapping the heat is not a good thing. Not the fault of the pool cover, it's just hot outside. It's been averaging 105 degrees here the last few weeks, and normally the water heats up to 90-95 degrees during the day without the cover. With the cover on the pool, the water gets up to between 110 and 115 degrees. That's pretty dang hot.
