Good Water Level Controller
Have been using this WLC for more than2 years. Absolute Marvel. Just fit & forget gadget. Anyone having issues with its function, sure had made wrong connection. A1 & A2 at terminals for auxillary power supply. 18 goes to power input of the coil of contractor. Connect CMN sensors at the bottom of sump & overhead tank. Connect P1 above CMN, just 2-3 inches above the pump foot value. This is dry run level. Position of sensor P2 is critical. Do not connect P2 at the top sump level. Auto run will not function most of the time. Connect P2 at such a height above P1 so that this sump volume is about 1.5 times your overhead tank capacity. I have a overhead tank of 1000 litres & I have fixed P2 about 20 inches above P1 in my sump. This is the optimum position of P2. Connect P3 about 3 inches above overhead tank outlet & P4 at about 3 inches below overhead tank inlet level. Be clear auto run will function only when all the 3 sensors, CMN, P1 & P2 are inside water in the sump. In this condition auto run will function flawlessly. Pump will switch on when water goes below P3 & will be automatically switched off when water level rises above P4. In case water level in sump goes below P1, pump will switch off automatically, giving dry run protection. Once water starts filling the sump, only when the level rises above P2, auto run will resume again. Occasionally, when water level in sump is between P1 & P2 & you want to pump water, go for manual start & pump will switch off when water rises above P4 or goes below P1. Logic of all water level controllers in market is the same. But this one is of industrial quality, ruggedly built with quality electronic components. Make sure the wire from overhead tank to controller is routed in electric pipe & sensors are installed in sump & overhead tank using pipes & cable ties. Then this automation will be truly fit & forget one. This is DIY stuff, but you need time, patience & clarity. Thanks

Excellent. Work good.

Decent Water Level Controller but restarts after every power cut
Works well after proper installation. 1 star less since it restarts the pump every time after electricity returns after a power cut. Power cuts are quite frequent in our place daily, it ends up running the pump multiple times a day (up to full water level)

Not compatible submersibles
These switches are not compatible with any kind of "Submersible", no were you will find the need of buying a "delay timer relay", if you get that, you need to know how to fix that with the existing starter (no one knows the diagram), if u don't put delay timer - you will burn your machine. I am in touch with two technicians from GIC for last 1 month to know which delay timer I need to buy and how to connect but seems I will have to continue to make follow up with them. Suggest don't look at saving some money and buying these fancy things which you can't install locally

Professional/industrial one, compared to the unbranded ones
This is the only branded, industrial use water controller on Amazon. All the rest available on Amazon are made from hobby kits and unreliable, bought a few, replaced defective ones, couldnโt get even one unbranded one working. Finally bought this one from the seller Mammidi Enterprises. (Ignore the seller ratings, as he sells industrial equipment, and the average consumer is going to have a tough time using the products due to the technicalities of the wiring diagrams or even understanding the instruction manual) For the folks complaining about connections, or saying it's not working, it's simple... Imagine a regular switch, that's 15 and 18. 15 and 18 is not the power for the motor. It's only a switch (relay) that goes on or off depending on the water level.

Reliability
Very useful & reliable product. I have used it to control the overhead water tank overflow.

Excellent product works as expected
* Product works as expected. I am using to fill the overhead tank only. Sump contacts are used only as "sump low level" protection * Realy useful is the start push button which start the motor if other conditions are safe. This is useful to fill up the tank before a power cut and the motor automatically stops after overhead tank filled up. * I used it with a contactor to protect the controller. * suggest to have a stop push button too.
