The item itself is very sturdy and well made.It is easy to install / the directors were clear. The pole wound up being just a little too short for my use case in that the weather station that is mounted to the pole now sits just about 5 inches above the roof. (The description on amazon was accurate, I just was not certain how the weather station would mount to the pole and how close to the roofline I would be able to mount the bracket that secures the pole.)I would prefer it to be higher to avoid the possibility of radiant heat transfer from the roof to the thermometer in the weather station.I contacted the vendor via e-mail to see if they offered a longer pole that would mount to the same bracket. The vendor responded very quickly via e-mail, provided me with plans / blueprints for an extension that they are considering offering that would extend the height of the existing pole and inquired if I would like to receive the extension when it is ready for distribution.Incredibly timely and helpful in their response.
