No nonsense, ridges to help swirl the coffee down, the best way to pour-over.
This makes pour over coffee as good as your beans. No reason to spend more money, buy a fancier device, or pay extra for a barista (always tip your barista) to make you a pour-over coffee. Just get this. I can make an argument for a non-plastic device, but this should last many many years and is shatter resistant and unlikely to be dented. It's light weight, with the correct filter (a few are included) makes it easy to get a great cup of coffee at home, or in a hotel room. Pour over coffee has no delays, and you don't have to wait for a machine to do the work because you do it yourself.Water just off the boil and your favorite beans with the right grind make gourmet coffee that's as good as it gets. And when it's time to clean up, the filter pops out making the cleaning job simple. I would like to caution, however, paper filters help remove oils, and those oils, when allowed through, tend to accumulate in the nooks and edges of any coffee basket and those go rancid, so use your filters and clean with a brush occasionally. Or use a permanent filter and use a brush daily.5/5 stars, and an essential part of my daily coffee arsenal.

Easy to Clean
Works and easy to clean. I walked away for a few minutes while it brewed. Took two and a half pours for my particular cup.I wanted a pour-over coffee dripper to replace the one I lost in the move, because my coffee alternative (the teecino stuff) soaked up half the water in the one-cup coffee maker. So I wanted a better way to brew it without worrying about having to brew multiple times with more scoops.I searched the reviews for one that was easiest to clean when I came into this one. I still let it 'bloom,' even though directions don't mention this. I'm not sure if it matters. There was no circular motion with this, though, or anything like that. Just pour it in and wait.I guess I did it right. My teecino tastes great! I love pour-over and will probably take it on trips with me. Was also pleasantly surprised it had a few filters in there to try. I already had some, but for someone just trying it out, might be good to know. I used the provided filter so you can see it in action, but if something is wrong, it's probably user-error.

Brews well! Budget friendly!
My family has an ancient melitta dripper that still makes a great cup of coffee. Inspired, I found this model and bought it! First off, you cannot beat the price, this is a high-quality food grade plastic from a respected brand, so do not let any of the recent trending news about black plastic scare you off. It takes number two coffee filters that are easy to pick up for cheap just about anywhere. Add some ground coffee and your desired amount of water and it's a consistently great cup each time! Some of my favorite features are the cut out below the cone that allows me to see how much coffee I have brewed. It's easy to clean and it dries fast. It also fits a variety of mug sizes, including my slimmer kleen canteen coffee thermos, my teapot and a regular mug! I thought I would miss a conventional handle which my parent's ancient model does have, but the extended lip at the top of the cone is more than adequate to transfer and set up. If you're looking to get into pour over coffee, I think this is a great first dripper to start with. It's a great way to be more involved with your brewing process.Looking forward to lots more great brews this! I've even temporarily put away my plug-in drip coffee maker to make room for a tidy little set up with this guy. Get one!

Your Morning Joe
I have been using this Melita 1 cup pour over for years for my morning coffee. It is so simple and very quick clean up. You simply place a #2 paper Melita filter cone inside the plastic cone, place over mug add coffee and pour boiling water. You have a great cup of coffee in minutes. The plastic filter is dishwasher safe and lasts for years.

Works well
I like this single cup pour-over cone because it holds both the #2 and #4 cone filters, the hole at the base allows you to see when the cup is full, and the durable plastic lasts for a long time. I have another one that I have been using for years and bought this one to travel with. I do wash it by hand and not in the dishwasher, which I think adds to its longevity. The only detail that could probably be improved upon would be to make the drip size hole a bit smaller so that the water would sit in the grounds longer. Other than that, this is a solid product.

Simple coffee filter, works well.
This sturdy plastic coffee filter holder is just right for brewing a single cup of coffee, though it will likely require 2-3 fills of hot water, depending on the size of your cup. It sits flat on the rim of all my coffee cups with outer diameter between 2 3/4 - 4 1/8 inches (7 cm - 10 1/2 cm), and is very stable. This holder does not have a handle, but you can grasp it easily with thumb-and-forefinger along the tall part of the cone without burning your skin or getting your fingers in the coffee. It takes a #2 disposable paper coffee filter. The liquid exits with appropriate slowness through one very small hole about 1/8 inch (3mm) diameter in the bottom of the holder (not shown in photo). You could use 2 filters at the same time if you want to brew more slowly. So far, this holder seems to wash easily. The black color seems much less likely to show coffee stains as much as the lighter-colored filter holders do. I have been drinking brewed coffee for 63 years, and I like this filter holder better than most others I have used.
