I must admit that I was not excited about the white DRL but seeing them in pictures does not do these headlights justice as they do look a lot better in person!The Daytime Running Lights on these are bright and stand out during the day and look even better at night especially when they are on without the projector lights. However, there are issues with these lights. First off, they are made in Taiwan so the quality vs. price is not on par. I did get these at a discounted price of $604 shipped from amazon and although it's cheaper than the $800+ most vendors sell them for not to mention the $949 RECON has them at!, I believe these lights would be better off priced at around $350-$400. RECON claims they are "Ultra Bright" LED turn signals but I would say they are as bright as any other LED's out there. The gaps on the slanted edge next to the turn signals are noticeably wider than the OEM units which is not too bad for me since my truck is black. I installed these with a set of Morimoto D3S bulbs and the OEM Ballasts and when I'm driving, the light output looks shaky when I go over bumps which is annoying! It leads me to believe that the part that the bulbs go into are not secured properly inside the housing. I also noticed that the lenses scratch easily so I would recommend covering them with a clear lens film to avoid this because I believe after several car washes there will be a ton of scratches all over them. Lastly, there is a notice inside the box that says the these units will get foggy with temperature and humidity changes.I searched for reviews on different sites including youtube for THESE headlights before buying them but unfortunately could not find any which is why I'm writing this one. I did however come across a lot of reviews from people stating how they are unhappy with RECONS customer service and other issues with quality.
