Where does the 3.8 apply?** A: I don’t know where the 3.8 came from but the title says “1/2 inch by 1-1/2 inch -.041 diameter” The .041 applies to the diameter of the wire itself **Q: Would a m5 screw fit in it?** A: A 5mm screw can fit but it will depend on what diameter the head of the screw is if you wish that part to fit inside. **Q: What's the compression rate on this spring?
