Gasket fell off very easily
Love using OE eqpt keeping my 2004 Olds Bravada Final 500 edition (#300 of 500). But for some reason the gasket was not factory adhered to the filter this time. It fell off THREE TIMES trying to mount the filter to the threads. And when you're doing this on ramps, that's pretty frustrating. I've never had a gasket just fall off so easily. Hopefully just a glitch and AC Delco caught and fixed this.

Engine runs smother
DIY here. Oil change is easy if you have the proper tools and parts (a bit messy but it is worth it if you think about the engine's longevity). This filter (ACDelco PF61E Professional Engine Oil Filter) costs twice (2x) than the FRAM or PUROLATOR equivalent, but the engine seems to run smoother, so I will continue to get this for my 08 Impala. I use regular oil Castrol 5W30. Cheers.
