Empty barbells are 6-pounders so a pair of these add to make 8.5 pounds. Just added a few more 1/2 pounds to get 10-pounds for now. Like to increase 1/2 pound each week. Would order again if needed. However, the gross negligence in the accuracy of the weights is inexcusable. Some of them are off by quite a bit. None of the 10 lbs weights are actually 10 lbs. They are all LESS.
