## Description

Instructions for use: The module is wired as defined, and the supply voltage is 7-36V (if the output is to 10V, the supply voltage must be greater than 12V). After power-on, the D2 light should be on, otherwise check the line connection. The board is reversely protected, and the reverse connection does not burn. When the current input is at the minimum value (0 mA or 4 mA), adjust the ZERO potentiometer to make the VOUT output the minimum value (0.0V or other voltage). When the current input is at the maximum value (20mA), adjust the SPAN potentiometer to make the VOUT output the maximum (3.3V or 5V or 10V, when the input is 4-20ma, the output can be as small as 2.5V). According to your needs, select the appropriate range through the jumper cap: 4--20ma: 0--2.5V range: J1 1, 2 feet shorted, 3, 4 feet shorted 0--3.3V range: J1 1, 2 feet are disconnected, 3, 4 feet are disconnected 0--5.0V range: J1 1, 2 feet shorted, 3, 4 feet shorted 0--10.0V range: J1 1, 2 feet shorted, 3, 4 feet disconnected 0--20ma: 0--3.3V range: J1 1, 2 feet shorted, 3, 4 feet shorted 0--5.0V range: J1 1, 2 feet shorted, 3, 4 feet shorted 0--10.0V range: J1 1, 2 feet shorted, 3, 4 feet disconnected Note:  The installation of electronic modules requires basic knowledge and requires a certain electronic professional foundation and hands-on ability. **Q: When using a two-wire 4-20mA sensor, does the sensor also need a separate power supply (separate from the board)? Or can it get power from board suply**
A: Yes, you need a separate 24v source to get the 0-10 volt output from the converter, can use 12v and get 0-5 output, hope that helps!

**Q: What is the default setting this devices comes with? Upon receiving it has 1,3 feet shorted, 2,4 feet shorted.**
A: Mine was 0-5v with both shorted.  I believe the "instructions" are, as of 10 months ago, incorrect.

**Q: If the board is powered by 5VDC (by mistake), what type of behavior will we see on the output as the current loop input goes from 4ma to 20ma?**
A: You have to have more voltage than your range. So it may still work with the 0 to 3 V output but the 0 to 5 and 0 to 10 will not work. It will probably show lower than what it really is.

**Q: How accurate/precise is this device? Is there a resolution limit or is it simply a linear conversion from current to voltage?**
A: Very simply, this device converts analog signals; there is no resolution involved.
