I wasn't sure that these cake pan strips helped that much until I baked the next set of cakes. There was a huge difference between the cake with the strips and the cake without the strips. I didn't realize how much the strips helped with evenly baking the cakes, and the cake with the strips was easier to remove from the cake pans.
