In February 2011, Boeing unveiled the 747-8 Intercontinental, a new high-capacity passenger airplane that offers airlines the lowest operating costs and best economics of any large passenger airplane, along with enhanced environmental performance. The new red and orange Sunrise livery is exclusive to the first 747-8 Intercontinental and honors key Boeing customers whose cultures recognize these colors as symbols of prosperity and good luck. Made of precision injection-molded resin with a special walnut wood base, this high-quality model is produced from original aircraft engineering data and Boeing-approved paint codes. It is decorated by hand and clear-coated for protection. Not recommended for children. 1:100 scale. Length: 30". Wingspan: 27". Stand included. Made in U.S.A.
