**Q: How do you install solar step Square lights**
A: No installation needed they just sit flat on steps or path.Excellent light. Recommend .

**Q: Is there an on/off switch or once they're on, are they on all night?**
A: There is no manually switch. Mine stay on as long as the battery charge will allow. In summer with nice weather they do stay on throughout the hours of darkness, but in wintertime they are often off by about 9pm because of low battery charge due to insufficient sun/daylight. I am still very pleased with the product regardless of this irritation.
