I thought I was ordering a white plastic planter, but when it arrived I was pleasantly surprised to discover that it is made of metal, very well manufactured (no burrs, weld marks, or rough edges), and coated in very thick high quality paint.  The drain hole is about the size of a quarter, which works just fine if you use a reasonably well-draining soil mix.Highly recommended, and I'm looking for an excuse to buy another.
