My neighbors dog keeps jumping the fence.** A: If he's jumping a fence, he'll get a big surprise on landing. Depending on the size or stubbornness of the dog, it may take a few jumps in different spots over the fence before he gets to thinking that he'll get some owie paws to not do it anymore. In my opinion tho, it will work. My big dogs don't like it. The one dog won't go near it even if he see's a neighbor cat that's running outside.
