If you connect the two connections marks "N" together and power it up, the unit ceases to function. Commonly accepted switching, industry wise, takes place on the connections identified as "L". The "L" terminals are connected together internally. The terminals marked "N" are being switched. ...dumb ! Suggest swapping the "N" and "L" markings on the unit housing. I installed in kids room where the changing station. I hate fumbling for light switches and definitely don’t want to turn on the big bright lights in the middle of the night.
