We ran them into a chute, but not into the head gate (as recommended, animal sometimes will lean hard forward), insert and turn on. You need to watch animal if muscles twitching, back off a little. Each animal was different. As seen in one of the videos, animal will pick back foot up, supposedly if you move to other side of tail, other foot will rise. Much saver, didn't need to try holding tail up over back either. Only thing was I didn't charge it long enough apparently. Suppose to last 10 hours, it ran out of power on 3rd of 5 calves.
