This under-cabinet light is bright and has a VERY low profile. Installation is simple. You can use the supplied 3M mounting tapes as shown in the instructions or do as I did and use the included snap-in mounts (not shown in the instructions). It uses tiny screws to secure the clips under a wooden shelf or cabinet. They even give you the tools! The package includes as small awl and screwdriver. Nothing else was needed. I'm using mine to light up my CD rack in my home theater. It's bright enough to read the labels. Before I needed a flashlight. Since it is motion activated, we get the bonus of a night light when we pass by. (It is right by an entry door so we will no longer have to come into a dark room.) In motion mode, it stays on for about 3 minutes.The downside? I see I need to do a better job dusting. I couldn't see that well before. Would be great for open areas where you need the light to come on as soon you walk in the room.
