I wanted something comfortable that was also compact as I don't have a lot of room. This chair is perfect for what I needed, and it's BLUE, which is the accent color in my kitchen. I was hesitant about the gold tone legs as I have nothing gold toned anywhere in my house, not a fan; I bought a can of black spray paint for the legs but as I've lived with this chair a couple of weeks I realize the gold doesn't stand out that much so for now I'm not painting. This chair is very comfortable to sit in all day or just sit in and drink a cup of tea in the morning. Shipping was faster than I expect and it took less that 10 minutes to unpack and screw in the legs. The velvet is very soft and rich, I bought the green which is sort of a cactus color. The legs are gold but they are a darker slightly muted gold verging on brass.I've sat in this for several hours while doing my digital art and it was very comfortable.
