The following goes for both this tote/roller and the add-on bag: Excellent quality, everything seems overly-built, ie big, thick, heavy metal clips, thick fabric, thick zippers, etc. which is great. The shoulder carry strap is the nicest I've seen yet; the pad on it is decently thick and large and feels very comfortable. It's also pretty grippy so it's not going to slide around on your shoulder and require constant adjusting. Will come in handy when it can't be rolled due to poor weather or whatnot. The bottom of the roller in particular, in fairly disappointing fashion, uses a sort of polystyrene base for the bowling balls to sit in. This is by far the lowest quality part of the bag and I'm somewhat confused as to why they didn't go with hard plastic which I've seen in other similarly priced bags. Despite this, I feel confident that with proper care these bags will last a long, long time. A massive step up from the crappy KR Strikeforce single tote I was using prior. This triple roller, I believe, is also one of the smallest of any made. Pop the add-on bag on top and you've got plenty of storage space for pretty much anything and everything you might want to bring to the lanes in a nice, compact space. This bag does NOT stand up, however, so keep that in mind. P.S. The purple definitely looks like it does in the pictures, too, which is a nice dark-ish, royal purple with a good looking pattern and slight sheen as well. I can fit two into a very small trunk with room to spare. I can only fit one normal 3-ball roller in the same space. The clear top and the double zippers really rock. There are similar roller/totes (e.g. from Hammer), but the Vise bag has the best features and far better build quality. For those wanting storage for shoes and accessories, there is a separate storage bag that attaches with spring-loaded clips. Do your homework before buying a bag *by D***. on February 4, 2017* This IS the best 3 ball bag. It is made for traveling. It has no plastic parts to brake in travel. They sell the shoe bag separate so you don't waste money when you buy your 2nd or 3rd bags. I personally travel to allot of tournaments and have 4 of these. So does my girlfriend. I have two of the shoebags one for storage of tools and accessories. Well made! Light so you don't go over airplane luggage limits. Big pockets with strong easy to use zippers on each side. The people giving these 1 or 2 stars didnt do thier homework.
