A: Yes, I bought my wife one for her Fire 7.  I don't know if the dimensions are the same from HD7 to Fire 7, but it fits her Fire 7 just fine.

This seemed to be the only case available now for my older Kindle, but it's much better than the previous cases that didn't last long.  It's more expensive, but it's less bulky, it's slimmer and sturdier, it's easier to wipe clean, and the vinyl's not as prone to peeling as my old cases were.  It also leaves very clear access for recharging, and it can fold in 3 different directions for standing the Kindle up.
