Epson will NOT provide a license transfer for their Epson Scansmart Software Accounting Edition which is keyed to the ES-60W. So, if you purchase the software to go with a scanner, and that scanner fails, not only are you burdened with buying a new scanner, you'll also pay for the new software. If your use-case doesn't involve managing receipts, this scanner should be ok'ish. Be aware the ES-60W only lasted 18 months.
