If you want one that will fit a larger truck check out the model number 5003. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect mellow sound, and well built! *by 0***S on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on November 28, 2014* Ordered this exhaust system for my 2004 Suburban Z71. I was super concerned with in cabin drone at highway speeds, and didn't want to deal with annoyed stares whenever I started my truck up. I've been pleasantly surprised in all aspects of this exhaust system. The build quality is definitely up to par, and the sound is incredible. At start up, I've got a nice sounding rumble, but once the idle settles down, it quiets down quite a bit. Don't buy this system if you're looking for a LOUD truck, but for those of us who are over the whole straight piped as loud as you can get exhaust systems, this is the perfect solution. The system has an incredibly refined sound, with no raspy sound coming out of the 5.3.One issue run into on install for the Z71 suburban is that there is an exhaust cut out on the passenger side behind the rear tire for the stock exhaust, but of course not on the drivers side. This led to a need for an adjustable hanger to get the two exhaust tips positioned just right, but it came close and looks nice.The dual chrome tips look excellent, and appear to be well built, which should mean long lasting.Overall, no regrets in purchasing this system, and for the price, it cannot be beat. I've had Flowmaster, Magnaflow, and Borla exhaust systems on other vehicles, and I have to say this is the best sounding exhaust I've found by far. Power levels seem to have increased, as this in combination with a cold air intake and a tune have seemed to keep the Suburban from downshifting going up long hills. I believe I will look into buying the Gibson headers next, as the Suburban is kind of a dog with the 5.3 and I'll take anything I can get for a little more power. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Unbeatable Quality/Price *by D***5 on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on December 8, 2011* This exhaust was purchased for my 2004 Chevy Avalanche. This product is of great quality and sound. It is a perfect fit for this vehicle with all pipes and clamps lining up PERFECTLY! Instalation was straight forward and accurate. The most difficult part of installing this product actually had nothing to do with the product itself, it was the headache of removing the old factory exhaust. You can very easily install this exhaust yourself if you have your own automobile lift (which I have), or according to the instructions, you can install it using a jack with stands. (It seems that this way would be very difficult to do since the old exhaust must be cut and maneuvered in an awkward way to be removed, also jack stands don't seem to provide enough ground clearance)Here are a few tips for installation:1) replace the supplied nuts with lock-nuts (all of the vibration associated with everyday driving conditions will loosen them over time otherwise)2) pick up 2" flange bolts (it's highly probable the original ones will break)3) use a torch to heat up the flange (the old nut and bolts will come off easier)4) remove the spare tireThe sound rumbles upon starting. It is mild while in park/neutral, but aggressive while driving.
