Once a large A4 package did fly over the top and land on the floor, but generally speaking there has not been a problem and my mail drops nicely into the mailscoop and prevents my dog from getting to it. Looks ok on the door, not too obvious or ugly. Really easy to fit. It's translucent material makes it almost unnoticeable on a white pvc door and its flexibility allows the door to be opened fully without marking the wall. Our dog is not happy that he can no longer get to the mail!!3 months later we have had to admit defeat to the dog. His daily persistence with attacking the product paid off and we have had to resort to an external waterproof mail box.
