A 1st Class affordable turntable
At last, Iโve finally bought a turntable that actually meets all my needs. Iโve been looking for a record player so that I can start playing my old (and some new) vinyl albums. Iโm not an expert when it comes to decent sound quality, but I know when I hear something I like - and when I donโt. I started off a few years ago with a 1960โs Dansette record player, which was fine for a while, but eventually got tired of the low background โhumโ that came from it. I then tried a Bush suitcase player. The sound was tinny and lacked any base whatsoever. Next was a Victrola. Even worse. In order to cut out background noise, the sound was muted until the stylus hit the start of a track. This could have worked except that it missed the first note(s) of the songs, and kept muting during quiet parts of the music. Next, I tried the Denver retro looking player. Nice and stylish, but noisy and again, tinny. My final purchase was this Audio Technical LP-60X. Perfect! Looks really stylish, and sounds fantastic through my soundbar and subwoofer. It cost only slightly more than the others that I had bought, but at ยฃ135, really is great value for money. 5th time lucky I guess.

Wow! I am really impressed!
I'm a committed vinyl freak and have been since I bought my first records in the late 60s. Yes over the years I've also bought 8-Track (remember them?), cassettes, CDs, MP3, but vinyl has always been my number one choice. So I was sad when my old turntable finally gave up a couple of weeks ago after 44 years good service. I had to replace it as most of my music is vinyl by a long, long way, but I didn't have the money for anything high end or even intermediate level. So I was restricted to entry level, at least for the time being. My choices were this, a Denon or a Teac. Doing my research, reading multiple reviews both on tech sites and from customers I went for the AT. I wasn't expecting miracles, I just wanted something to get me through until I could splash out on something better. I ordered on a Wednesday, it was delivered the next day, well packed. First impressions were good, it looked lovely! Felt a bit light compared to what I was used to but thought the proof would be in the playing. Setting up was simplicity itself. I made sure it was on a sturdy, and most importantly absolutely level surface (a couple of reviewers that have mentioned skipping or skating maybe want to check their surface is level), gave the stylus a clean and tried it out. I didn't use the built in pre-amp as I had a Behringer one that I knew was good so used that. I have to say I've been amazed by the quality of the sound reproduction. It's crisp and clear with treble and bass highs and lows sounding great. There's zero motor rumble and the auto function is smooth as silk. I've even played some 40+ year old 45s on it and they sound perfect. I may upgrade one day but to be honest at the moment I'm so pleased I can't foresee the need to.

A very well built good sounding product
I really like the look of this product although it is modern it looks quite retro like something from me 80s. Performance wise the sound is very good and there is good base sound as well and works well via connecting from USB to the computer. The only fault I would find is that you have to be so careful when removing the stylus protector as the needle can breakvery easy if youโre not careful. In addition I love the fact that you can also connect to the turntable to other equipment via line in our phone connections. Overall I am very happy and satisfied with this product and itโs performance. Set up was pretty straightforward and I figured out how to install the turntable belt as well.

Great deck at a sensible price
Havenโt been able to play my large vinyl collection for years. Bought a cheap deck and sub woofer a while ago but the sound quality was awful. Ran this deck through my Hitachi cd system and speakers and was very impressed with the outcome. The deck is easy to assemble, just ensure you fit the drive belt into the groove on the post as explained and your away. The quality of the product is obvious compared to cheaper ones it feels solid and looks expensive but the best thing about it is the functionality. Everything you need to play 33rpm & 45 rpm records is there and clear to use. No dropping the stylus as you manually place it onto the record itโs all done for you. I havenโt used the record to usb function as I have an encoder on my system so I used that, the sound was crisp and clear even from well worn vinyl. If you want a great piece of kit this is it. If you pay less youโll regret it as I did previously. Iโm very happy now๐คฉi

A great dipping your toe back into vinyl turntable
Unsure if my return to vinyl was a long term thing or just riding the wave of nostalgia, I needed a turntable that didn't break the bank but also of decent quality better than suitcase ones flooding the market. Not only did this fit the bill but it is turning out to exceed my expectations in what it produces Audio-Technica know how to build turntables and even though this one is on the budget end of their range, there is nothing budget about what sound it can get out of your vinyl. This comes with an OK built-in pre amp to get you going out the box but if you pair it with a decent external pre amp, even a Fosi Box X2 like I have, the sound quality really opens up to have a superb rich sound for the price. You really start feeling the unique sound of vinyl over digital formats Of course cuts are made for the price. It's a bit plasticky but not cheap. The cartridge is not upgradable (just the stylus), and no adjustable tonearm (preset for the fixed cartridge) but it's good to go and will serve you well until you feel the need to upgrade the deck. A turntable built for its purpose and built well. Purists will tell you spend at least double to start with but there's no need with this.

Outstanding value.
So very pleased with this turntable. It arrived yesterday, the day after purchase. The set up instructions were so easy to follow. The sound quality is so very good, especially as the price was exceptionally reasonable. Would definitely recommend.

Great value for money with impressive sound quality
I'm very impressed by the sound quality from this inexpensive turntable. Easy to set up, fully automatic which makes playing vinyl so easy, built in phono preamp so TT can connect direct to amp Aux input without need for additional phono stage. I needed a new turntable to replace a 35 year old Marantz that was showing its age but I didn't want to spend silly money on some audiophiles dream. For occasional use I'm more than happy with this choice.

Buy it with confidence !!
100% satisfaction. It is a great value for money. I'm completly new to vinyls, I've read a lot of reviews and I couldn't decide what to buy. So my first choice was ION Audio Mustang LP - 4-in-1 Vinyl Record Player / Turntable with Built In Speakers but it came used one so I've sent it back. It was also very poor quality made so I decide to had a refund and buy something else. My second choice was similar to first one - I-Star Vinyl record player turntable with biult in speakers 5 in 1, but it was a disaster. Sound on this is awful. You will have to be deaf not to hear how bad quality sound it is. Both of them looks very nice, had a lot of extras like USB, Radio and Bluetooth but vinyl player was really bad. So I decided no more experiments - I'll buy something more expensive. And I must say this was a perfect choice !!! It looks very stylish, sounds very good. My advice to everyone - don't waste your money and time for something that's only looks good. Buy something that will have a nice sound !
