Very good product made exactly to OEM specs. Ordered it and got it within a couple of days. Installed the tracks on the machine and it worked like new. Highly recommend it and will buy it again.

The old tires on my pool cleaner (Baracuda MX-6) were finally worn out. Tread like a bald tire on your car. Worse... they were getting so weak they kept peeling OFF the little wheels, especially the tiny drive wheels, getting all twisted up and the cleaner stopped moving. So... I bought these. I bought two pairs, not knowing how long they'd last. The original tires lasted about two years, So these are much tougher, and oughta last about 5 years each! But... they are NOT flexible, nor stretchable! They are REALLY TUFF to put them on! I learned to put them over the tiny 'drive sprocket/gear/thing' first, and then try to stretch them (?) to fit over the main drive wheels. It took some practice and learning, but I finally got them on. THEY ARE TIGHT! and the little gear cogs in them grip the drive sprocket very well. No slipping at all! Once you get them on, you'll be happy! Value for the money? YEah! Much cheaper than anything you'd buy from Leslies Pool service or the cleaner manufacturer! Buy them from Amazon! They'll be at your house in a day or two for sure!

Awesome replacement tracks for the Zodiac Mx8. Easy to install....place onto small wheel FIRST, then onto other two larger wheels. Took a few seconds. My cleaner is back in action and climbing the walls again.

So, our new, 1-yr old in-ground pool came with a really nice (expensive) pool sweep. It worked great during the first summer, when we used it quite a bit. Unfortunately, when autumn came & the weather turned cooler, we closed it up and didn't open it up much, except to clean it once a week or so, and run the pump and sweep. When this April came around, we were anxious to get the pool in shape for the warm weather. Unfortunately, our pool sweep didn't seem to work. It looked like it was trying to run, but it just looked like it was spinning its wheels. When we pulled it up and examined it, we found out that the trends were completely worn out on it, like bald tires! Much to our surprise. We called our pool contractor and he said he thought that the treads should last a year or so. He said that he would send us some replacement treads. However, it could take a while, what with supply chain shortages and all. So I thought I'd look on Amazon for some replacements that could get here sooner. We bought these online and we thought they were a really good price. When we got them in, we tried replacing them, but they were very difficult to put on. They just wouldn't stretch very much. After a great deal of difficulty, we finally got both of them on, and they seemed to work OK. However, after a couple weeks, the pool sweep was not working again. So my wife took the whole pool sweep to the local Leslie’s Pool supply store and the guy looked at it and asked, “Did you get these on Amazon?” He said that he had seen several of these treads damage pool sweeps because they were much harder rubber than the factory replacements. He said that he would take a look at ours, but if it was badly damaged, we might need a new pool sweep. Later that day, she went back and the guy said that we were lucky, because our unit was new, it had not yet been damaged. So we bought the new, original equipment tracks, which are very soft, & have great traction, for $50. And they work great -- just like new.

After fighting with these stiff treads for about half an hour , I put about 2 inches of water in a pan, heated until I could barely put my fingers in water, then turned off the heat and dropped one tread in the pan. I waited about one minute, removed the tread and slipped over the wheels with a lot less effort than before.

These tracks fit my MX8 cleaner as advertised. They are a little stiff and not very “stretchy,” which may be good in the long run, but it makes for a little challenge to get them on the cleaner’s guide wheels. One needs to take some care not to break something on the cleaner when installing (most of the cleaner’s parts are plastic, after all). I suggest starting with two guide wheels and slowly and carefully rolling the track into place on the third wheel. Make sure the center rib seats into the groove on the 3 drive wheels. Once installed, these tracks really made a difference in my cleaner’s performance. The little teeth on the older tracks were, upon comparison, very worn, and the older tracks were much looser fitting, which apparently led to slippage and reduced mobility.

Installed on my MX8 no trouble at all. It’s climbing the walls again!

Great price and product my x8 is lie new again. If your cleaner won’t climb walls or constantly stops moving this might be your answer.
