Have a lot of dead branches, what is the benefit of the F32 curved anvil vs. F31 straight anvil?

I have both pair! I think it is a personal preference. The curved are a little heavier for me (I have a lot of arthritis in my right hand because of an injury). They are both excellent pruners!
