I do recommend cleaning the screen well, especially on the edges and corners. I took lots of time to clean my screen and even noticed a few small scratches when doing so, should have put this on when it was new. I just installed it 10 min. ago, so I can't review how long it lasts, but so far I am impressed. I have done my fair share of phones and I would say this screen is similar to other really good phone screens. Being 12in long I was concerned, but it fit tight, no room for error and it kind of held it's self while I put the 3 hinge tabs on. Getting to the tab to pull the back off was a bit challenging once it was pressed against the screen (i would bend it down so when you lift the screen the tab is easlier to grab) but once that came off the screen just fell into place. wait a minute and it just about got all the air bubbles out by it's self. Then just some removing and sticking a few spots on the edges and done. Nice.

I rarely ever make the effort to leave a review unless a product is worth the full FIVE STARS. This screen protected is makes my screen look so georgeous! To install I lined up the screen protector on my screen to check fit, it fit perfect. I used the dust stickers provided to tape one side of the screen, top, middle, and bottom, to hold screen in set place. I flipped protector over and prepped screen. I read the other reviews, my kit did not have alcohol wipes, but it did have a large microfiber cloth. I used my personal alcohol wipes to clean the glass then wiped with cloth provided. Then I peeled back stick off protector and flipped protector back onto screen. No pressure necessary, I started to see the protector adhere to the screen. I watched the sticky creep slowly around the edges then to the middle. No air bubble and no dust! It was that easy. When I was done I used the cloth to wipe down the protector again. This protector has no issues with sensitivity, and I have no issues with glare at all. If you are in the market for a screen protector, I suggest you take a chance on this one. For me it was definitely worth it which is why I have the full FIVE.

Bought this for my husband who just got a Power Wagon from an AM, go figure. I was worried about the large screen being scratched or accidentally damaged given the PW LCD size. To be honest, I just looked and this was the first I found that had any reviews. And so happens it’s a bit more expensive than others. But is “clearly” the best. Item came in oddly nice packaging, with all the accouterments to install, and my husband got it done—I’d spend forever trying to get it perfect but he tends to have no problem wit these kind of things. It’s as thick as the actual lcd glass I’m sure but it fits in the provided space perfectly. I couldn’t tell that this product was installed, there’s no overlapping edges or seams visible. I don’t drive the truck but my husband said it truly makes a 180 difference in the glare on the screen (truck hasn’t gotten its windows tinted in the front yet). Confident that when removed the screen will be as new with no scratches and provides a dummy proof layer of protection so people like me get a second chance when they hit it with something.

Some tips: Do this ASAP after getting a vehicle! My truck was only a week old (had just over 100 miles already when I bought it) and the amount of grime, fingerprints, and scratches (yep, already) was mind blowing. It took a long time using eye glass cleaning solution to get all the yuck off. I used de-ionized water in an eye glass "mister" bottle, wouldn't recommend an alcohol based product as it could damage the touch screen as well as any coatings on it. Hold a rag or towel at the bottom to keep any liquid from seeping behind the screen / bezel. After cleaning and letting it dry thoroughly, I used a canned air duster (like for a computer) to get rid of any residual dust. Be sure to do this around the whole bezel, as when you peel the backing off the screen shield it will generate static and attract any nearby dust particles. The screen shield fit perfectly in my 2023 ram with 12" uconnect. So perfectly in fact, I was worried I wasn't aligned right, but once I had the last of the backing sticker removed it popped right into place. I used a plastic card (like a credit card) wrapped in a lens cloth to squeeze the remaining bubbles out, and now it looks perfect!

I think this was probably one of the easier protector installs I’ve ever done … lots said it was difficult, but if you follow the instructions on the card it was super easy and quick. Put it into place with the sticker still on the back, they give you three placement stickers to put at the bottom. I put one out the right and left corners one in the middle. Hold the bottom in place by the stickers. I put their crud sticker on the top like a tab in case I had to grab the glass I didn’t touch the back and put an irremovable finger print. But lean the glass back a bit holding the bottom in place and slowly let the back sticker tear off. Once it’s free just plop it back up on the screen. Then use a card or something and just touch it up along the bottom edge and wait for it to adhere all the way to the top…you’ll see it moving up. Once it up any non stuck spots just use a card to press them out to the closest side. Couldn’t fit any better without being a pain…can’t even tell it’s on there. I’m not gonna throw stuff at it to see how much it can resist ;). But looks great so far!

A slight flaw in the glass in the top right corner. Looks like it may have got burnt. Overall nice screen protector that should keep scratches off my new trucks screen.

Installed easily and seems to be doing a great job. Hopefully it lasts and doesn’t scratch overtime.

Just purchased a new Ram 1500 with the 12” touchscreen. On YouTube I saw a fellow describing this screen protector and I thought it would be a good investment. When I received the product from Amazon I was immediately impressed by the packaging. If you’ve ever purchased an Apple product you’ll know what I mean. The packaging is first class, high end. The instructions are easy to fellow although they don’t show you the squeegee which is included. I wiped down my touchscreen using the included microfiber cloth, (very generous size), and some Costco eyeglass cleaner. Then I used the included piece of sticky tape to pick off any lint or dust particles. I placed the screen protector in place and using the supplied tape strips secured the protector along the bottom edge. These tape strips will act as a hinge to allow you to tilt the protector away from your screen so that you can strip off the film that’s on the screen protector. I did this process by myself but as I was doing it I thought it would be handy to have a third hand. Not necessary but might make the installation slightly easier. Once you strip off the film use the squeegee to work out any bubbles, starting from the bottom up. I missed one little bubble so I had to pull the protector away from the touchscreen and start over. No problem doing that. Just catch the edge of the protector with a fingernail and lift. Took about fifteen minutes to do the installation. The touchscreen functions as before and you almost can’t see the protector. Too early to tell if this investment will pay off but I’m confident that it will. I carefully saved all the little tape strips and squeegee in case I should ever need them again. Oh yeah, the product description says that the protector is .33 inches thick. It is more like .033 inches.
