I also ordered a large pack of thread skeins I'm a variety of colors. These needles were big enough for children from ages 8-14 to handle them for the first time. These kids had no prior sewing experience and I noticed these were easy to hold and thread. The project I had them do was to make a felt keychain. These were sharp enough to go through two to four layers of felt fabric and could handle the abuse of these kids. Also, none of them broke or bended in any way. I didn't read the fine print though, and it's hard to discern size when looking at a picture online. These babies are THICC. For my needs (basting quilts and hand stitching), they are unusable.
