Without an English users manual, or being fluent in Chinesse, I couldn't use this dictionary.
I had hoped this would be a good tool to help learn Chinese. But, since all the functions are labeled in Chinese and there was no users manual I had to return it. If it would have included a users manual in English I would have kept it. I have an older version that only shows pin yin for a single word which is of limited use, since this model was supposed to show pin yin for an entire sentence I thought it would be more useful. However, without a users manual or being fluent in Chinese I had to return the product.

First get a reasonable amount of study of intended language before buying this product.
It is confusing to learn how to navigate through all the menus. It would be easy if I already spoke and was able to write both languages. Not cheap as it costs quite a bit. Maybe useful as a dictionary once you have a fair amount of knowledge of language you wish to learn.I believe that using Rosetta Stone first to learn language then maybe by this product as a portable aid.
