Over clothing, under clothing?** A: The Hyperkewl vests rely on evaporative cooling to work so they must be worn over clothing. We recommend thin clothing such as t-shirts or one layer cloth shirts for maximum benefit. If the vest is placed under clothing it just feels like a damp shirt next to the skin and it won't provide much cooling as it is harder for the vest to evaporate if it is underneath anything.
