Otherwise, the carpet ends up with soap left in it, I think. I rinse until the water coming up doesn't look sudsy anymore. (My machine has a switch to just use plain water from the water portion of the tank, so it's pretty easy to do. My old machine was such that I had to finish cleaning, then fill with plain water to do a rinse.) **Q: Can this be used with the bissell 3624 spotclean carpet cleaner?** A: I don't know. I would check the instructions you received with the cleaner itself. **Q: will it work with the small portable Bissell** A: I don’t know!
