Most customers use it on their face 2 to 3 times a week. The skin on the face is more sensitive and delicate and you have to be extra careful when exfoliating. This is one reason I created the brown sugar scrub line, it is more gentle on the facial skin compared to my Dead Sea salt scrubs which is salt based and can sting if it exposed to any open cuts and sensitive pores. **Q: Does it remove dead skin** A: Yes, it'll leave your skin exfoliated and soft! The essential oils will coat the skin too, so I just gently pat dry when I'm done. Love the stuff and the oatmeal bar you get is awesome! **Q: does it help rid of rosacea?** A: I am not sure, I bought it to exfoliate my face but it was way too oily for me. So much, that it made my shower floor super slippery. So I discarded it. **Q: What is the shelf life for this item** A: It says to use within a year.
