There’s no plastic. No assembly required. I put a cup of water in my microwave, brought it to a full boil. Then I set the little Stirling engine on it, waited for thirty seconds and gave it a little nudge. It started right up and ran for over twenty-five minutes! It makes me smile to see the little thing running! Since I live at over a mile high, water boils here at around 200 degrees Fahrenheit instead of the 212 at sea level so I thought maybe the little engine might not run very long, but I was wrong. As I said, it ran for over twenty-five minutes right out of the box. I’ve been showing it to every visitor to my house and they all love it.
