One thing I would do differently is leave the springs for last build everything else as once you put the springs in you can no longer open the unit without it coming down on you! I would definitely say 3 people as everyone says would be best but don't panic if it's just you and someone else you can most definitely do it but you need patience a lot of it. I love it I recommend it but is very good quality but the only bad is the process to put a together ### ⭐⭐⭐ Murphy bed *by T***R on 17 June 2024* If you buy this bed, be prepared to spend some considerable time putting it together. It took 2 of us 12 hours to complete, I am an experience carpenter. The instructions and the video are in places unclear and vague. Thankfully my son and I are gifted with some common sense and experience, so putting things in the right place first helped. You learn fast which holes are which for the fittings. Make sure you have a large room that is empty. Part way through the making you’ll be left with 2 large bits of furniture that will need to be put together. The springs are a nightmare to put in, you need to do it with the bed raised, not clear in the instructions. DO NOT OPEN THE BED UNTIL FIXED TO THE WALL!! Nice sturdy bed when erected and fitted. An Ikea double mattress fits perfectly. The catch for the bed is a little feeble for the weight of the bed.
