When I bought them I didn't realise that my baby soon needed much bigger spoons to hold more food for her. Spoon head is small yet quite thick, which means it doesn't scoop up much food but big for baby's tiny mouth. Won't recommend it as young baby's first weaning spoon. I thought I could use the clear case as a travel case but it doesn't close tightly by itself.
