The 100% plantation top grade teak wood is kiln-dried and sanded by hand to a silk-smooth finish, and treated with matte clear coating for water repellent. The solid teak wood is naturally water resistant and durable, which makes a natural enduring accent furniture for indoor and outdoor.

I am very pleased with this purchase. First of all, the bench is lovely--the wood is rich looking, the workmanship is good and the design is elegant. There is no assembly required--it goes from the box to your shower. I looked at other websites and local stores for a teak bench and the price on this one was extremely good. I have an arthritic knee and I need a bench in the shower that is comfortable and easy to get up from (not too low), and this fills the bill.
