## Overview

The EarthQuaker Devices Organizer is a polyphonic organ emulator effects pedal that delivers warm, vintage organ tones with a unique twist. It features true bypass switching, an all-analog dry signal path, and versatile applications across various instruments, making it a must-have for musicians seeking to enhance their sound.

## Description

The Organizer is a polyphonic organ emulator designed to mimic the organ tones of yesteryear crossed with the highly unique "Guitorgan". It has a warm and very analog feel with a hint of Leslie warble that is unlike other modern octave shifters. It is simple to dial in and tracks chords as well as single notes perfectly all over the neck on both guitar and bass. Not only can the Organizer be used on strings, it has been widely used on everything from vocals and synths to horns and drums… If it makes sound, the Organizer can handle it! The Organizer uses a mix of analog and DSP circuitry with true bypass switching and an all analog dry signal path. It is made by hand, one at a time in dirty Akron, Ohio. The controls Up: Level control for the octave up. Down: Level control for the octave down. Choir: This control takes a mix of the octave up and octave down setting and regenerates it. The end result is an additional 2 octaves up, 2 octaves down and direct signal with a slight delay that adds a "church organ" like feel. This control only works if the octave up and octave down are in use. Direct: Level control for the analog dry signal. Tone: Rolls off the high end as you dial it counter-clockwise. Lag: Delay control for the wet signal. Full counter-clockwise is minimal delay, delay time increases as it rotates clockwise.

Great pedal to make some really interesting sounds!

*by S***N on Reviewed in the United States on April 17, 2014*

Very cool effects pedal that really makes your guitar sound very different. Twisting the various knobs has a huge impact on what hits your amp. It genuinely can be made to sound like you're playing an organ. Put fuzz or distortion in front of it to shake things up (the compression seems to have a big effect on the sound). Put fuzz or distortion after the Organizer at your own risk.Feels solid and the switch has a very good click when you step on it. I also like that the indicator light is white instead of the ubiquitous red on most other stomp boxes. The pedal is also extremely quiet and I haven't detected any negative impact to my tone whether it's on or off. This is a great pedal for those who want a very unique sound from their guitars and like to experiment.Someone mentioned the delay from the pedal as a huge negative. Yes, there is delay but it can be easily mitigated by turning up the Direct dial. Plus the delay is adjustable via the Lag knob. Personally I found that I like the delay effect a lot and keep it around 12:00.

    "Lag" issue fatal flaw

*by B***1 on Reviewed in the United States on November 19, 2012*

Great sound. This pedal is able to emulate a low-end church organ very well. But there is one fatal flaw.Almost every other note played with the "Lag" setting completely down produces a pitchy odd sound. If you don't mind latency, then you will not have this issue since this only occurs when the "Lag" knob is all the way down.I returned mine because of this.Would be an amazing pedal if this issue was resolved by the company.Womp
