Soldered in place, but mounts look dependable. Hole in panel, and mounting of item was a bit of jury rig, but was really no problem with any type of drill, and appropriate bits. 30 amp plenty of load for my 5 switches, attachments. Great piece, and a simpler solution than a switch, and in line fuse/ breaker.

**Q: I need to be able to hook up either awg 4 wire directly, or awg 4 with a terminal connector with a 5/16 hole; will this circuit breaker work?**
A: Yes, you can use 4 Gauge wire.  We have both the wire and the lugs in stock ready to ship if you are interested in purchasing them all together. Our sales office phone number is 424-263-5106

**Q: This product seems to be the magnetic type per the seller website. Does this mean I can wire the line and load on either terminal?**
A: I installed it as a replacement for the 30 amp 120vac output line from my motorhome Generac   Generator a NP52G. Have about 25 hours of use on the this CB with heavy loads and had no problems.

**Q: dirction of current  flow? can you hook it up either way?**
A: As far as current flow is concerned, either way would be fine- your just interrupting the flow in the hot wire. Most breaker panels, however, require installation of the breaker in a specific way (matching other breakers etc).

**Q: is this  the same as blue sea  34-20A that's in my panel?**
A: Per the Blue Sea Systems catalog it appears to be a form-fit-function replacement.  The manufacturer (Carling) extended part number is essentially the same.
